RREACH — Root to Fruit
A 12-Episode Series Built from the Ground Up
A 12-episode explainer video series for RREACH's Root to Fruit discipleship curriculum — produced entirely from the ground up. From concept development and moodboard approval, through custom character animation and motion graphics design, to full video editing and audio post-production.
We delivered a broadcast-quality series that brings complex theological content to life with warmth, clarity, and visual precision. Every episode built on a consistent visual language — characters, typography, colour, and audio — designed to engage and retain viewers across 12 instalments.
Make Abstract Theology Visually Accessible at Scale
Discipleship content — root systems, spiritual growth, relational dynamics — doesn't arrive pre-visualised. The task was to make 12 episodes of complex theological content feel warm, clear, and visually cohesive without an existing character library, style guide, or brand precedent. Consistency across 12 instalments, all produced within the same production window, was both the creative and logistical challenge.
Establish the Language First, Then Build the Series
The moodboard was approved before a single episode began — locking the colour palette, character style, and animation aesthetic as a binding reference document for the full run. Signature animation sequences (the Tree of Life, the People in Motion system) were custom-built and then re-used and adapted across all 12 episodes, keeping production efficient without sacrificing visual quality.
Concept & Moodboard
The visual direction was established through an approved moodboard defining the series' colour language, character style, and animation aesthetic — grounded in warmth, simplicity, and storytelling clarity.
Character Animation
Tree of Life
