Motion, design,
and visual storytelling — shaped for commercial use.
I'm Andrew Devadas — a Creative Director and Motion Designer specialising in visual communication for global brands and international organisations. My work sits at the intersection of technical craft and creative strategy, built around one principle: that strong visuals don't just look good, they do a job.
Over a decade across six creative disciplines — 3D animation, motion graphics, brand identity, exhibition content, illustrated storytelling, and video production — I've built a practice shaped by real commercial needs. Experienced in visual communication for institutional and international audiences across India, USA, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Every project is different. The standard isn't.
I work with agencies and brands as a technical partner: translating complex briefs into executable visual narratives with the speed, precision, and quality that production demands. Whether it's exhibition content or a brand film, impact over novelty — always.
Approach
I believe in a "commercial-first" creative process. This means prioritizing brand equity and technical scalability from day one. By building flexible pipelines that combine 3D, 2D motion, and practical production techniques, I ensure that high-end visual solutions remain adaptable for various platforms and future iterations.
Collaboration
Successful work is a product of alignment. I act as an extension of your team, providing the technical direction needed to navigate the evolving visual landscape. My role is to simplify the complex, ensuring that every frame contributes to the broader objective while maintaining the highest standards of production.

FROM BRIEF TO FINAL DELIVERY
Brief & Discovery
I start with the stakeholder brief — not the creative brief, the business one. What is this asset actually supposed to do? Who sees it, where does it land, what does success look like? Understanding the commercial objective before any concept work begins is what separates strategic creative from execution-only work.
Creative Direction & Concept
Once the brief is understood, I set the visual language: tone, palette, motion character, and reference universe. A defined creative direction — agreed and locked before production — prevents feedback loops that cost time and money downstream. Every project gets a concept stage, whether it's a 30-second social reel or a full exhibition system.
Production & Tool Orchestration
This is where I coordinate the right tools for the job. Cinema 4D, After Effects, AI generation pipelines, motion graphics, 3D lighting rigs — selected and combined based on what the output actually needs, not habit. AI tools are integrated where they accelerate quality and rejected where they dilute it.
Structured Iteration
Feedback cycles are structured, not open-ended. Presentations show work in context — final format, final aspect ratio, with sound if relevant — so stakeholders react to the real thing. Comments are consolidated, tracked, and resolved with clear version control. Revision rounds have defined scope.
Delivery & Handoff
Files delivered to their final destination specification: broadcast-safe colour, correct codec, print-ready colour profiles, developer-ready assets. Documentation provided where the project has downstream dependencies. Nothing left open.
