From Static Slides to a Multi-Language Animated Video Series
Accuray is a global leader in radiotherapy technology — makers of the CyberKnife and Radixact systems, used by oncology teams across hospitals worldwide. Their clinical education team had a challenge: important cancer data existed as static PowerPoint presentations, but needed to reach patients and medical professionals as polished, accessible video content.
The brief was to take those raw data slides and transform them into a series of professional 2D animated infographic videos — built entirely around Accuray's brand book. Custom assets, icons, and motion sequences were designed from scratch for each topic. The result was a multi-topic video series covering Head & Neck Cancer, Lung Cancer, and Central Nervous System (Brain & Spine) Tumors — each reproduced in English, French, and Russian for international clinical distribution.
Clinical Data That Needed to Travel — and Be Understood Anywhere
Accuray's clinical data was accurate and important — but locked inside PowerPoint slides. The challenge was to translate dense medical statistics and treatment information into something visually engaging, accessible to both patients and oncologists, and polished enough to represent a global medical brand. Each video also needed to be reproduced in multiple languages without compromising the visual quality or the precision of the information.
Built from the Brand Book Up — Every Asset Custom
Rather than adapting generic templates, every motion asset was built from scratch using Accuray's brand guidelines — their palette, typography system, and visual identity. Custom 2D icons and illustration elements were designed for each cancer topic, with animated data sequences built to make statistics land with clarity and impact. The same scene architecture was then adapted across English, French, and Russian, ensuring consistent quality across all language versions.
The Video Series

Multi-Language Production
Every video in the series was produced in up to three languages — English, French, and Russian — for deployment across Accuray's international clinical and patient education channels. The same scene structure was adapted for each language, with all on-screen text, typography and pacing adjusted to suit each version.
Primary Production
All videos produced first in English — the master version used to establish timing, asset layout, and brand compliance before localisation.

Behind the Work
Custom Asset Creation
Every icon, illustration, and data graphic was built from scratch in Illustrator, specifically designed for each cancer topic. No stock template libraries — the visual language was developed to match Accuray's clinical brand identity and communicate accurately to medical professionals.
Brand Book Precision
Accuray's brand guidelines governed every frame — their teal and navy colour system, typography hierarchy, and logo usage rules were applied across all animations. The result is a series that looks like a natural extension of Accuray's wider brand ecosystem.
Scalable for Localisation
After Effects project files were structured to make language swaps efficient — text layers pre-organised, timing built with localisation in mind. Adapting English masters to French and Russian was a systematic process rather than a rebuild, allowing Accuray to scale the series across markets without starting from scratch.
